Network Business Unit

 
 
The Distribution and Planning Business Units are responsible for planning, design, construction and maintenance of the grids. This includes false response, connections, network upgrades and reconstruction. The department has a 24 hour standby crew to respond to faults and outages and provide network connection to the customers.
 
The Planning Unit manages the asset database, has responsibility for metering assets, and develops the asset management plan. The Distribution department has responsibility for the vehicle fleet and carries out data to day operations, including handling of customer’s enquiries and fault calls and line maintenance work such as tree trimming.
