Customer Payment Option:
TPL offers the following payment options.
Tonga Power Limited is looking at more flexible methods of payments for customers to pay their electricity bills in a more efficient way. With the current methods of payments available, the company encourages the use of electronic payment. Setting up more automated means of bill payment will help you budget and more importantly will ensure timely payment of each monthly account.
Note that even if payments are made automatically. Tonga Power is more than happy to review your power bills if you feel there has been an error. Do not feel that payment cuts off your means to have your power bill checked.  If it does appear there is an issue with the bill, Tonga Power will commit to correcting this and addressing any implications on the previous bill if it has already been paid. We still remind customers to pay before the due date of their power bill, to avoid any frustrations they might encounter later on.

Online Power Bill Payment is now available for customers to use. 
Simply register your name under this service by emailing your power bill account number and name to One of the staff will contact you with your new username and password. 
Then login to to click on Customer Module to access the Online Staff Service module.
Note: You can only pay online using the service with your credid card.
Online E-Bill
Tonga Power Limited can now help you receive your power bills more efficiently. Tonga Power Limited can now send you your monthly power bills by electronic mail. If you choose to have your monthly power bills sent by electronic mail, simply advise Tonga Power of your Power Bill’s Account number, Account Name and location to the following email addresses:

Customers can pay using either MasterCard or Visa. Credit card payments are also available for our customers to use. Credit card payments will be accepted by calling or visiting the TPL office during normal business hours:9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. They can also pay with cash to our front counter at our head office.

NOTE: Customers are requested to use either their “CUSTOMER NUMBER” or “ACCOUNT NUMBER” which are both shown on their bills as reference for their payments
Digicel Mobile Money
Customers can now pay their electricity bills using Digicel mobile money with the help of Digicel.  Once the customer has money in their Digicel mobile money wallet, they can pay their electricity bills directly from their mobile phone.
Note: Internet banking, mobile money payment and other third party payment take around 3 working days to reach TPL. Bill payment should be made before hand to avoid undue disconnections.
Over the Counter
Customers can now pay their power bills over the counter at any Westpac Bank Branch.
Pleas note taht you can pay your power bill at Western Union Branches in Tongatapu, EM Jones Branch located at Taufa'ahau Road and Tonga Development Bank as well as our Tonga Power Head Office at Nuku'alofa.
If you have already set up an account with ANZ Bank and you have in hand an ATM Card, you can also pay your power bill at any ANZ ATM. Simply follow the instructions on the scree, select bill payment and enxure you keep your receipt as proof of payment.
